OK, so I was bored with my multilegendary wrestler so I've found the true way to end my journeys.

I've found a volcano (not a mere magma pipe, I had to travel 2 worldmap mountain tiles to get there) with a -steel statue- from my previous fort in my hands. Must I say that i was wearing nothing?

Then I jumped into volcano and proceeded to bash fire imps but there was a giant flame spider which bit my head off.

I've got 1 imp before I was burned by the spider.

Show your spectacular ways of endings. Please screenies if possible, I am tired of thousand stories which were made up in the place. Although I don't meant to try to forbid it .

I killed the three rulers of the world, which I modded to have [POWER] tags. A dragon, a hydra and a demon. I brought their bodies across the ocean to a volcanic island then threw them in. Then I jumped in after them.

Oh, that's a good story. I wanted to throw something valuable in the volcano but I was not able to locate the leaders .

i killed 5 leaders , then , the last leader left the room inn for no reason , i hide in a bush , he comes , i beat him to death , then a big shaved bear who hates people ambushed me while i was half way to a magma pipe to throw the leaders corpses , he managed to kill me , but not before i pushed him into the pipe with me

ok i saved that 24x24 tileset pic and followed the instructions for setting up a new character set on the wiki and it doesnt work, all i get is blocks of one colour stretched everywhere 
Someone please help me.

I'm not really good with things like this. I'll try helping. This is probably one of two things:

1. Most likely you have an earlier version than 40d16. If you have, try upgrading and trying it on this version.

2. You made a mistake with the init file

Here's my init settings for that section (I just guessed what you needed to do so I may have done it in a strange way):

This lets you set the starting windowed/fullscreen setting.  Can be YES, NO or PROMPT.

[WINDOWED:NO]

This is the size and font for windowed mode.  Changing to 800x600 and the 800x600 font might make you happier.

[FONT:curses_640x300.png]

Full screen info.  The 0s below mean that the game will choose a resolution for you, but you can set it yourself as well.

hmmmm so sorry for bothering u with that, it turns out 40d16 ISNT 40d 
Oh well after a short google search and loading up the topic page on here im now downloading d16 so i will try again once im done and thanks for the help Halmie 
Hopefully it will work.

btw i did what you told me to do i just think its probably cos i dont hvae d16

Offtopic again: I like 40d16 because you can resize the DF window by mouse and zoom with a wheel, so whenever I feel like I want to change the size of the DF window I don't have to restart.

i downloaded 40d16 and did what i did originally and it worked beautifully !

Yeah, Biasam's tileset uses antialiasing to make the tiles look soooo sexy slick.  Only 40d16 supports antialiasing.

But yeah, it's an awesome tileset.

So imagine a short naked man swimming in lava, all his hair on fire (super-saiyan!), beating on fire imps with a STATUE, and add the song... wow...
