3d block software?
« on: January 20, 2010, 01:40:22 pm »

I was just wondering if there is any program that lets you build things with 3d blocks? Would be great to be able to plan a fortress without spending time ingame for those wacked out ideas so you'd have a blueprint to go after =)

In the case that you aren't an experienced 3d modeller...

You can try building stuff out of lego; I've heard lots of people say they use it. I personally just draw lots of diagrams myself, but I used to mess around with Blockland, a lego-based program that lets you walk around what you actually build, and if you stick to 2x2x2 blocks, you can get an idea of what you want as well. Don't think anyone's found the ideal 'just put blocks there hypothetically and then view it' program, though.

Well if COD players all have ADHD, and Minecrafters autism, then what do DF players all have?
