Tetrisfriends.com has a few varieties including a simple gameboy monochrome style and several online multiplayer modes etc.

I found www.firstpersontetris.com recently, which is pretty neat.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

How many of these play the tetris song?  I've been aching for a game of tetris recently, but it's more for the catchy infinitely looping music.

Tetris Friends plays a good remix of the main theme, and the retro (1989) version has the original bleeps and bloops.

In fact, you should all play Tetris Friends. It's free, it's official, it has four better-than-real multiplayer modes*, one real multiplayer mode, and it even has a version without Infinite Spin/Holds if you're into that.

* You play against the ghost of other players who have already played. That doesn't sound so awesome, until you realize you never have to deal with whining, spam, elitism, poor grammar, or quitters, never have to wait to play, and you can pause any time you want. The 'real' mode has chat, powerups, and whatnot, if that's what floats your boat.

EDIT: And there's more. You can even replay your games, and your top game replay is saved automatically.
