Okay, so... after thinking things over a bit, I've decided I'm going to take a break from the forum. I'm not sure if it'll be indefinite or not, it's likely I'll at least lurk now and then, but I definitely won't be posting for a while. As such, consider this my at-least-probable-farewell.
For anyone who happens to stumble across this, just to provide a quick explanation, I don't want to be a drama llama.
However, I'm finding that my posts here are generating an unusual amount of animosity lately. I don't know exactly why, but I'm going to write it off as me just getting more socially retarded as I get older (I've never exactly been great at social skills), so it's very likely that I'm just being offensive or inviting it without meaning to. Seriously, though, I do often suck at presenting my thoughts in a way that produces the kind of reactions I expect. As such, I really want to avoid becoming a troll on a forum that I like a lot.
(Also, stressing out over a forum seems kind of silly.)
To anybody who I've accidentally ticked off, I'm very sorry. I think the B12 community is great and produces a lot of brilliant, creative material, and is a bastion of hope against the tide of commercial clone games with pretty graphics and no substance. I'd like to leave on a good note, thus this topic.
Keep it up.
And for anyone who's been keeping up with 'Cult', I'll post a link in that topic once development is a bit further and I'm comfortable setting up a site with a forum for continuing development.
