The tale of Orda Poetfists, the Torrid Sense is a well known tale. A tale of heroism and great deeds. Her many deeds include the slaying of the cyclops Ustra Ironprides the Livid Persuasion the minotaur Shoveth Sullygristles, the giant Xok Takefliers the Sweet Culmination, along with the legendary wolf and jaguar Whitegrove and Chokeroar respectively, who had been terrorizing and murdering travelers who had passed through their territory. Her final deed would be her greatest, but also infamous for being tainted with murder and betrayal.
Orda Poetfists was most well known for possessing bravery that would put many men to shame, weilding a large two handed sword, only having one eye and leaving the corpses of her legendary kills as trophies in various taverns around the world, the stench of which would fill the taverns.
Whether it be through a detesment of men, or just coincidence, she over time recruited only women to journey with her. Onec Flameplunges, a lasher was the first, then two more, Threbe Narrowwheats, a crossbow(wo)man and Mirding Musictouch a Bow(wo)man.
She became a mercernary for several groups and joined the Fatal Coven and the Fatal Cult as a worshiper of Sath, the God of Death. Because of this, she was not only respected, but feared as well.
The last quest her and her companions partook of was the slaying of the dragon Palath Parchtax the Luxurious Diamond. She and her party returned, less one and reported the sucess to the mayor, . The butchered corpse was presented at proof of this.
Something went ary, however as she was witnesses to be shouting for Onec, who had not returned with them. Many recall her shouting at the others, asking where she was. The conversation seemed to indicate that the dragon had maimed Onec, but had not killed her and she had requested that one of the other two carry her with them as the dragon corpse weighed her pack down. Furious, Orda demanded that they return to get her and they quickly left. This would be the last time any of them would be seen alive, save Mirding.
Mirding was seen returning to Phrasedoaks many hours later alone. Many citizens began to question her as to the whereabouts of the others, only to be turn away and ignored. Inquisitors from the various groups the group had been involved with were sent out to question her. They each conducted a private interrogation.
During each interrogation, she seemed distraught and upset. She told the inquisitors that they had returned to the Anguished Cave (the home of the dragon) to retrieve the wounded Onec. According to her story, shortly after finding their compatriot, an argument broke out over who deserved credit for the slaying of the dragon. At some point, Orda started to become enraged and strangle Onec. Mirding claims that she and Threbe tired to defend the helpless Onec by firing upon Orda. It is said that Orda then wielded her sword and decapitated Onec before charging at Threbe. The story concludes that Mirding fatally shot Orda with an arrow after Threbe had been slain by her, then returned home.
The Dead Doctrines concluded without further investigation that Mirding's story is correct and have not excommunicated her.
The Fatal Coven have chosen to investigate further as Orda was a prominent member and dispatched their inquistor to investigate further.
