[NOTBUG][40d16] Magma not killing dwarf.
« on: January 06, 2010, 07:57:53 pm »

So I accidentally struck right into a lava pool and it flooded the lower floor of my infant base. Anyways, a miner got stuck down there, and he's up to his neck in magma (5/7 depth) and he hasn't sustained a single wound. Is this a bug or can you get the dwarf version of Jesus when you start a fortress?

Did you turn off temperature in the init?

Huh, so apparently I did. I thought magma would still kill. Thanks.

With temp off, a dwarf can drown in magma, but that's the only way to be killed by it.

However, say a dwarf is in magma and gets any "magma covering x item" if you turn temp back on, fire ensues.
