What has actually happened, of course, is that the sasquatches have been pulled together by sasquatch interaction forces and have reached a density sufficient to cause the mass of sasquatches to sink into the earth, creating a cave. Be careful though, should the sasquatches reach critical mass the resulting explosion will blot out the sun with sasquatch fur.
