If a brother acquires his win condition, he wins, flat.  The other Brother loses.  The town/scum, however, keep playing.

Thus it's sort of two battles going on with the town/scum stuck in the middle trying to hang on.

Vanilla= what you get when you remove anything good about a desert.  thus, Vanilla Townie. 

Chocolate is the opposite.. like being an Unlynchable Bulletproof Combined Cop/Doctor or a Paranormal Ghost.  Too strong for most games to handle.

Yes.

Also, they shouldn't be able to change any win conditions or single out specific groups. They should, however, be able to add roles into the mix, though not control who gets them.

Ok, now I'm seeing it, and I kind of like it.

Oddly enough, if I play, I'd like to be one of the regular players, trying to weave around...say.. Cobalt/Jim as brothers... those two get downright hostile when you give them 'too much power'.

Oh, and it can simplify the 'instantwin' rule attemps with one phrase: You MUST complete your win condition BEFORE the town/scum wins. 

And that kills any desire to push for one side to win. :D

Meanwhile:

Any ideas on what the goals can be for the brothers?

Brother 1: "Have 5 failed bandwagons (3 or more people on the same person, but does not result in a lynch) occur before the game ends"

Brother 2: "Have 2 people lynched by less than 3 people voting for them"

Have a quick chat for the brothers.  Have it so that they must declare the rule they want IN that quickchat (no PMing the rule)... in fact, after both brothers declare their rule, the two must confirm AFTERWARDs.

ie.

Brother 1: declares rule
Brother 2: declares rule
Brother 1& 2: confirm their rules

So long as BOTH don't confirm then their rule can be changed, but if a rule is changed both brothers must confirm again.  Meanwhile, neither brother knows the win condition of the other.

Result: you (as a brother) know what rule that the other is trying to put in place and can adapt their own to counter it.  They don't know what the other brother is trying to do to win but can try to figure it out based on the rules (thus it'll be smart to put rules that don't make your win clear).

Lastly, if the rules contradict each other.. a 'hybrid' rule is created based on the two to fix the correction.. the host informs the brothers of what the hybrid will be BEFORE the confirmation.

Indeed, it would seriously hamper the town's scumhunting efforts.

Ok, I think what we ned here is a test game. 9 players, 2 brothers, 2 scum. The rules on rules are mental, and this is bastard to the Brothers.
