You shrug, and say "I dont know. I just kind of... appeared? Whatever. Look, would you like to band together? I can offer a place to stay, and food, as long as you do your share of the work."

"Hmm. I'll think about it. Give me an hour or so."

"Very well. Oh, and whats your name?"

"Kelas. Kelas Throwingkill."

"Well met, Kelas. I am Orik."

"Well met, Orik!"

One hour until Kelas has an answer.

Having made one before, you think you could maker another axe, better this time. You set about gathering the relevant items, and get to work. You're only working a few minutes, however, when Kelas comes up to you.

"Well, good Orik. I've decided. I'll join you!" And with that, he pulls out two canteens, filled with a bubbling liquid. He hands one to you. "Celebrations all around?"

You take a sip of the liquid. Ahhh! Yeah, thats the stuff!

After finishing, you ask Kelas what he can do.

"I can fight decently with a sword, although I dont have one at the moment. Theres a story to that, actually. I can tell you later. Anyway, I can fight, I can track, and I have some experience in leading men. I used to be the captain of the guard at Allericgo. My family all died at the hands of the elves from Bifigaretho. I'd like to get a spot of revenge, if thats at all possible. Those places are on the map that I had, as well. Allericgo is south of us, and Bifigaretho is south-east."
