Wounded Liaison
« on: December 24, 2009, 02:02:46 pm »

My first liaison (for this fort) showed up and is missing his left arm. I looked it up on legends, and it was burnt off by a dragon. He's taking forever to reach my fort, moving 1 square every few minutes. What should I do with him?

If he's your dwarf Liason, hope he makes it, so you don't have to rely on random Caravans. If he's the humie one, pray hard he reaches you, unless you want a war with the humans.

I think you could catch him in a cage, then release him in your fort, and then do the same thing to get hi to the border when negotiations are done.

I think that might work, has anyone tried that?

I think I'll use the cage idea for sending him off. He's almost at the entrance now.

I wonder if healing him using Dwarf Companion would cause Legends to implode.

How about training your liason in swimming?

I accidentally did this in adventurer mode by bringing myself back to life many times. My legends listed all the times I died, and what I did in between. And each of the people who killed me shouted at me that they had killed me and I would die too. For example:
"My name is Random McGuy!
Slayer of You, who is a butthead!
Prepare to die... again!"

Does it actually say 'again'?

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then you kill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.

Just gave it a test. No saying of Again, but he does boast about killing you.

Caged him. He got depressed. Then he died.
