Determining Size of Dwarf Kingdoms

I'm currently having a very hard time with immigration, and I suspect that it's related to the dwarf kingdom that I chose.  How do I determine the size and location of each of the dwarven kingdoms in my world?

Go to legends and go to historical maps.

The size and location of the Dwarf kingdom has no affect on immigration. The only thing it has an affect on (for now) is what stones, gems, and animal products are available.

If you're still on the world map, you can cycle through the available civilizations; it appears that the larger one is, the more outposts appear on the map.
