Yeah.  That is kind of a misnomer, Mayday.
I do know that, but I also know that most people call any top-down view isometric. I just thought that it's the best way of making sure everyone will know what the thread is about. But okay, I edited the title and changed the name to CavAscii :P

If cavalier was possible, making isometric would be trivial.
And vice versa.
