Object File issue (not a bug)
« on: December 17, 2009, 05:32:58 pm »

So I know this more than likely isn't a bug, but I don't think it would fit anywhere else either. So I edited the creature_standard file a few days ago for the speed hack. Halfway through the game I decided that I didn't like the cheating so I wanted to turn it off, saved and exited and tried to fix it. Now every one of the files in the objects folder isn't recognized as a text file, windows just calls it "File." When opened in notepad, wordpad, anything else all the data is code / gibberish. DF still runs, but I can't edit anything. I have gone as far as redownloading the game and it always sees these files like this. Any ideas? Driving me crazy, not that I really want to do anything major to them, I just like things to be right in case I did want to... or just because they should be lol. Any ideas?

Make sure your going into the raw folder and not the data folder.

EDIT: Folder! Folder! Not file! >_<
