Found this in a cave (possibly HFS). Is this normal in HFS's?

Huh. There was nothing else in there, besides that image? You'd probably know if it was HFS, and it's odd that it'd be accessable from a cave.

Did you install a newer version over an older version without deleting the older version?

If not, have you heavily modified your game?

I've installed relentless assault and an ice mod, but that's it. I used a revealer to check for demons, no demons, just a few more equally confusing pictures, usually of elves "comitting depraved acts" to other creatures.

More screenshots is needed... take one of the are in the fort where this was found, or was it adventure mode?

Since you used a revealer, I'm guessing that this is indeed the HFS, but the reason for the lack of demons is that the revealers don't trip the event flag that spawns them. Load a save from before the reveal and dig to the cave, then see what happens.

It seems that in Tentacle Clown pits especially, you'll see civilization species committing depraved acts on other civilization species. (Along with strange "fluids") You said you had Relentless Assault installed, which has Frogmen as a civ.
So yes, it's perfectly normal.

Yeah, reveal utilities break this stuff.  Whoever hooked you up with the utility should have warned you.

Sounds like a perfectly normal elf activity to me! The lack of "fluids", however, is somewhat bothering.
