Brewing meat?
« on: November 18, 2009, 11:26:35 am »

Is it possible to mod a particular creature's meat to be brewable into a drink? For example, making "cat juice" out of cat meat?

If it can't be done in one step at a still, is there an indirect way to do it? For example, modding cats to have an ITEMCORPSE like "cat ichor," adding "cat ichor" as a plant with no biomes so it won't occur in the wild, and making "cat ichor" brewable into "cat juice?"

You could probably mod a smelter reaction to turn the unusable creature 'chunks' from butchering into a brewable 'plant' which is brewed into bloodwine or something.

Don't see why that wouldn't work, as long as the corpse is a plant type then it should work fine.
