I guess this goes here for now...

Well after some setbacks, I finally got around to my project...

Slaves to Armok: God of Blood
Chapter III: Fall of Armok

So far all I've got complete is the title screen and some history compileing, due to the extreme task of making a realistic whole planet in ascii...by hand.

Dude.. you need more than a title screen screenshot :P

My only visualization of this game is that there's going to be a bunch of dwarves building up a fortress and Armok is going to fall down on them.

It's a game, similar to Dwarf Fortress (I think?) that is also a parody of Dwarf Fortress.

Right now, its still a game concept.

It doesn't turn into a game until I start laying down code.

As to the game's future alignment, I cant quite say, but its solo-player partially random generated dwarf space explorer with DF like action in ascii...

Yes, I'm aware it's a game concept. I just wasn't grasping what the gameplay was supposed to entail at all.

By "DF-like action" do you mean moving around and interacting with stuff on a tile-based grid, like Adventure Mode, or managing stuff like Fortress Mode? The former is really more roguelike than DF-like specifically.

Considering that I covered this...with tri-layer

I'm making controling ship systems one of the main features of the game, and haven't we all tryed to emulate space on DF at least once, I worked out the space suit problems with temps but brought up water issues...and frozen/molten world actually work sometimes...

A basic rundown of how the game will function in tri-layer...and that dont mean three z levels.

I'll finish the concept before I get to that point anyway.

I way leaning toward parallel programing to DF, but I'm still not concrete.
