Cliffs. LOTS of cliffs. MASSIVE cliffs. 40 levels at least. Twice that much is ideal. My dwarves like to carve mountains into of massive towers.

I call it "The Rape Of The Land," or simply "Landscaping."

My current fort has over half a dozen exposed magmetite clusters, two of which also have exposed native platinum veins. On top of that, I also have a couple of exposed limonite veins. I also have a flux layer underground. I think I'm gonna make shitloads of steel bolts, purely because I have the resources to do so.

Lots of trees. (Look, I never seem to get magma and I hate depending upon caravans when it comes to smithing. Besides, it offers me so many ways to piss off the elves.)

I just wanna near land on a high, rocky plateau covered in trees and surround myself with a moat while I dig down.

It's never happened.....but it would be nice.
