I have a miner, using a mod, and the 'pick' is two-handed. He keeps dropping and getting the pick again, how do i make it so it's set to two-handed for the dwarf?

Go to the soldier settings for the dwarf and set his # of weapons to 2 instead of 1. That'll fix the problem.
