Why are you so awesome, oh chef~?
« on: October 28, 2009, 11:18:33 pm »

My chef recently cooked together two stacks of five two-humped camel cheese. Both were worth about 150 dwarfbucks. He cooked them together for a stack of +two-humped camel cheese biscuits [10]+, worth 1700 dwarfbucks.

WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME, OH CHEF. He is getting a big tomb. A BIG tomb.

Meals have what is probably unintended values. If I recall correctly, the value of a meal is the sum of (value of component * quality of component), that is then multiplied by an overall quality.

So for example, if you have four stacks of 20 dwarven syrup (value per stack: 400), then you can make a stack of 80 dwarven syrup roasts worth up to (400*12)*4*12 = 230400.

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then you kill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.

Good god, that's scary. This is why I stopped growing sweet pods and cooking, it's seriously borked (one sweet pod has the same value as 5 electrum).
