Any true dwarf lives within the miasma clouds for a year and comes out mega-win.  Think of it as this haloweens test of survival.  Just litter your WHOLE fort with trash and let the fun begin!

No need to litter.  Just set it so that dwarves ignore refuse.  The Elves, Goblins, Kobalds, local wildlife and even your own dwarves will do the rest for you.

OK so I'm thinking pit tons of dogs or whatever into one square on top of a grate.  Have everyone head to a room several z levels below this grate.  Pull a lever in this room.  Hopefully everyone is exposed to mega death.

Repeat as nessisary with migrants.  Could fifty animals falling at the same time on the same tile cause issues?

Issues is an understatement.

You'll need ten or so z-levels though.

No, we aren't.

You can't use bones from dwarven children.  Too much lead.

Get some mermaids instead.

Dwarf Foreman allows for you to give tasks to your kids

It's possible to start training them to become masterwork metal smiths this way.

But until you can force them into the military, I don't think you'll be able to do spartans.... yet.

You have convinced me to construct a radiation shelter lined with the bones of dwarven children.
