Probably a good idea. I think that's what happened the last time I played it online. Don't have a server myself though.

Of Hamachi or AS? I think that download is the latest version of AS isn't it? You need the latest version of UT2k4 but GOG's version is pre-patched.

you do need to install the bonus pack.

You only need to install the bonus pack if you want to install the bonus pack. It has no effect on AS.
