I just returned after a long hiatus and am in the process of modding and getting the utilities for my new install of DF on my laptop, however when trying to get the Dwarf manager working i encounter a problem... when i go to load from DF it comes up with an error and in the details it says

System.Exception: Unknown DwarfFortress version (checksum is 0x4a9b1a72)
   at DwarfManager.DwarfFortressAccess.DetermineMemoryLayout()
   at DwarfManager.DwarfFortressAccess..ctor(Process process)
   at DwarfManager.DwarfFortressData.Connect(Process process)
   at DwarfManager.DwarfFortressData.Update()

so on and so forth... i am using 0.28.181.40d16 with mike mayday's graphics set on vista 64 bit home premium... does anyone know why i get this error/ how to fix it.

It would be worth noting that i have tried to fine the config settings for 40d16 however i cannot. any solution would be greatly appreciated

To make it simple, that error is because nobody updated Dwarf Manager for 40d16 yet (AFAIK). You could use Dwarf Therapist instead: http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=39229.0
