While I move my troops into position and wait for them to be fully reinforced, nothing really happens apart from a few trades.

My army positioned on the border, fully reinforced and ready to go.

All seems to be looking good there!
Remember to spend some time on assigning better commanders to your divisions - there's quite a few promising ones out there, with more becoming available every year. Chechoslovakia is a good place to train them a bit. (and get rid of all the "old guard" geezers).

Answering your question from before, revolt risk doesn't go down by itself. You have to rely on garrison units in more important places, and "open society" slider helps IIRC. But it's not a big deal altogether. Rebels will give your obsolete cavalry units something to do.

Ah, yes. When you attack Kosice, Czech armor divisions tend to retreat to Presov, which makes them prone to being destroyed in encirclement. If you think you can spare a few days, attack Presov first, then wait for your army to enter that province before moving into Kosice. It really helps later to have those tanks on your side.

My plan was to attack presov with my cavarly and infantry, then run the cavalry up the belly. The two groups on the left will attack Kosice then just coast up through Czechoslovakia.

I'm using full screen shots now. Just a warming for 56K
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
A little hotchpotch here and there. I also just realised I forgot to sort leaders out. D'oh! Currently spreading my troops out over Czechoslovakia to supress dissent. Will improve screenshots in future.

Have you actually annexed them? That'd defeat the purpose, as all their troops would get disbanded, right?

Watch out! It's better not to wait too long, else the Germans get the special event of Anshluss! With Austria annexed, youll hve a really hard time battling the Germans, even with the Czech troops on your side. The most sensible course of action would be to wait only until your(and Czech) damaged units get fully replenished, with as much as you can get upgraded, and strike without waiting any longer. Germany has got more IC than you, so the time is working against you.
