So yeah in my current fortress Im at war with a large goblin nation comprised entirely of Elves & Dwarves (seriously in the Civ screen every single unit is an elf or a dwarf, though goblins appear in ambushes etc) well whenever a dwarf is in said ambush, and I kill him (with non-said traps) My dwarves bury him.......

Pretty sure this is a bug, never heard of it before so I posted it.... unless my dwarves just pity their poor misguided kin....

Right now it's coded that dwarves in fortress mode will attempt to bury any dwarves, be they your fellow civ, merchants, dwarves present on embark, or even those that attack you.
