Context engraving
« on: September 20, 2009, 01:09:02 am »

Currently engraver dwarfs just engrave whatever they like. It would be when you are say, engraving a tomb for your awesome marks dwarf, that the engraver would engrave important event relating to that dwarf if there are any. Basically it would be nice for an engraver to look around the area to see what would fit.

It's been discussed a number of times to allow you to control whatever shows up on engravings (and related objects, such as statues in the next version).  Context-sensitive, or a tendency to highlight recent events and keep down repetition, has also been mentioned.
