Boxes and bags in dining room... What?

Boxes and bags in dining room, I don't really get it, nor how to make or put it in the dining room.

Sorry, what are you asking?

Boxes and bags, which refer to chests, coffers, and bags, are stored in the furniture stockpile when they're empty. Bags full of stuff go elsewhere. Food if they're full of dye or flour or other milled products, furniture stockpile if they're full of sand.

this sounds like a noble demand.

Find their dining room. Then place a chest or a bag in it. Simple.

< b > gives you all of the various "build" options. This is not a "construction", so no <b, C...> - find box/bag, and designate it. Some dwarf w/ "Furniture Hauler" enabled (assuming you gave any that labor) will then place it there. Done.

You'll want to build a "container" in their room using <b, h>.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
