I remember these days where i was reading Lord of the Rings and they entered the caves of Helmīs Deep and they were giving on the details of the cave, which included how the walls were beautiful and were fully engraved and had the most beautiful gems attached to it. Even a elf would stare at it for hours to come with a amazed stare.

Iīd like to be able to do so. I want a cave full of lush. I want gems on my walls!

But, consider this as a kind request, from a fan of Toady One.

Consider it.

And sorry it has been suggested before.

[You cannot place gems into windows, but what you can do is] build gem windows into [or in front of] the walls (or a pair of them) seperated by 1 space from eachother, and 2 spaces from inner corners.
The windows will cycle through the gem colors it's made of.

# is a wall, and W is a gem window. When you assign the area as a room, the designation will count the spaces behind the windows via the diagonal.

Althrough thatīs a fine solution, itīs still NOT it.

But, well, it will work for now =D

Also, how i wish i could make red, black and white (not clear) glass.

And glass weapons and glass arrows... And... glass glass heh..

Oh... Someday my Glass Fortress will be ... true! And a legend.
