ah well, my dwarf wayne should catch up soon (i removed his maxage tag also, literally because i don't want to get /nearly/ there and have him die)

what people fail to realise, is that prior to Morul hitting the orc, there was no tunnel.

Yes, yes I am!

Glad to see someone else has taken up the challenge. Warning, it gets tedious in places.

Needs a "home run" area. Preferably a pit full of lava, spikes, or war dogs.

You could modify the rules and play dwarven darts. Hammerers hammer gobbos one by one in target area.

If gobbo hits lava 2 points, if he falls in pit with dogs 4 points, etc

And if the gobo falls in to a pit with magma, magma immune war dogs and repeating steel spikes… 6 points?

That... can't be real.

Well, Armok has a challenger now.

It's real. Morul isn't your typical dwarf.

Eventually some dwarf will break that record, if only because they have a longer hallway. Until then, Morul holds the record for the gob-put (well, orc-put, but since orcs are heavier than goblins anyways it's no big deal).

After I get finished with my current project (cast obsidian tower with dark dwarves), I plan to do goblin-baseball, where hammerdwarves decked out in obscenely heavy armor try to smash goblins far enough away that they can reach a refuse stockpile before a hauler can beat him there with the corpse. The hard part will be training the hammerdwarves up to legendary without letting them skill up in Armor User, but once that's over it should be a piece of cake.

thats not to hard just tell him his armor is clothes and shield is none (well that shield user but still) i use to forget to change these and it had fun results during orc sieges (Dig deeper)

The hard part will be getting a team of hammerdwarves to legendary with no armor skill without killing them all in sparring accidents. It's tough enough training a large team of legendary hammerdwarves with high quality steel armor, much less nekked.

I'm also curious, does decorating with metals increase an items weight? Never cared before, but that would make weighing them down fairly easy.

how about athletics? You get x non milatary dwarves and x dangerous animals, leopards for an example and whoever gets the furthest before they torn into tiny pieces wins.

how about rhesus maqaucs chasing, turn their speed up to 700 and the first dwarf to kill one wins.

How bout a ballpark style hitting area instead of a straight hall. Various pits around the park each with its own little surprise for any orc/goblin to be found living at the end of his trip.
