Modding out aquifers

Would it be possible to somehow get rid of aquifers? Either trough modding or by playing around with world gen settings?
I dont like aquifers.  >:(

Inorganic_stone_soil holds the key to your quest. You will know which tag to remove...

Be sure to remove it from the conglomerate and puddingstone entries in inorganic_stone_layer and inorganic_stone_mineral too (maybe others).

Not really all dwarfy... dwarfy-ness being measured by difficulty.

To bypass a magmafer, all you would need to do is temporarily redirect your local water source into the magmafer, poof obsidian. lather rinse and repear for each magmafer.

Well...  Didn't I mention that magmafers are never indicated anywhere, and are fully pressurized?  ;)

OK, maybe not all that dwarfy, but the idea sounded good.  I suppose that'll teach me to post after a bout with a sinus infection followed by a boy-child with food poisoning...   :o
