Modding Question: Eating Things
« on: August 30, 2009, 09:08:10 am »

Apologies in advance if this has been asked before. I made a cursory search but I may have missed it.

We all know elves have the whole "eat sapient kill" thing going on, but I was wondering why, in adventurer mode, you can't pick up something's corpse and eat it (you get the "No. That's disgusting." message.) Is there a way to mod what a race considers edible? For example, adventurer dwarves won't eat vermin unless they're starving (I think I saw that in the wiki), but I can't imagine kobolds having the same hang-ups. Or if you're adventuring as, say, one of Rysith's orcs, and want to eat manflesh.

So, yeah. Is there a way to change what an adventurer considers edible?

Nope. Seems to just be underdeveloped right now.

Damn. Ah, well. I'll just have to be content with throwing corpses at enemies.
