DF: Operation IRL

It struck me, why can't there be a game for every era on this world?
Right now, im busy with my own projects for DF, can some of you modders work on this idea?

Just make a bunch of different races that are in different technological eras. Anytime you want to play a different era, just choose a different race.

WWII Fortress : 7 Stranded Paratroopers from the 101st have lost all communication with the American Naval Fleet, and must construct a shelter and trade with locals to survive.
Sieged by the japs!
An Ambush! Curse them!

Gulf War Fortress : 7 US Army Rangers have been seperated from the convoy and have lost their comlink! Establish a base from the supplies in your Bradley fighting vehicle and try to survive until the war is over!
Sieged by the Insurgents!
An Ambush! Curse them!

Civil War Fortress : 7 US Union soldiers got seperated from the buggy convoy, and must establish a fort to fend off the South!
Sieged by the Confederates!
An ambush! Curse them!
