I only savescum for adventurer mode, and only when I die a particularly stupid death. Like from children curbstomping me.

Ha! that made me laugh. can I sig it?

I want to save without quitting because I always feel stupid when my dwarves die due to a lack of food, or some other completely idiotic way. I would much rather lose due to a goblin seige, flood, or some other legitimately (Sp) dangerous way. Or because I wanted to. Not because my stupid carpeter won't make barrels without a drink, and can't drink without barrels.

<Urist McCarpenter cancels drink: too thirsty.>

Go ahead and sig it! Yay, sigged. :D

Honestly though, savescumming is really a matter of personal preference, so feel free to do so. It won't wreck your game or anything.
