Show how many seeds

Could there be a number when choosing seeds for a farm showing how many of that seed you have?

Just check the stocks screen. I know it will only give an estimate of the number of seeds and not give you a breakdown of what types of seeds if your precision isn't high enough but that is what it is there for.

No, see, while I'm chosing at the farm sometimes it lists plants that I have no seeds of.

Forget the stocks screen, go to the kitchen, that will show you a breakdown of every seed you have.
