I was actually kinda surprised over this. A goblin ambush arrived at my fortress that were very close to a magma vent. When the dwarves started to run around to avoid the goblins, they got a fire imp into the fray. I was like "Yeah, now the fire imp will get pissed at the goblins!". But no, they payed each other no mind and both parties were just after dwarf blood.
Isn't fire imps supposed to sort of... attack dudes that walk too close?
