How can you die of thirst ina Brewry

 >:( lost a shortie to dheydration - his one job? making booze  :P Any way to prevent this in the future?

Make sure you have enough barrels, brewable plants, and that the job is queued. Also, have a backup water source, preferably an indoors well, so that if the booze runs out and you don't notice, the little idiots have somewhere to drink from until you can brew some more.

I had about 200 booze for 7 dwarves so I shouldn't have had a problem there, alsoa brook was maybe 50 feet from the enterance and a pool much closer (was actually building around it and planning to drain it for a refuse pit at some point)

Was he standing in the brewery while the brewing was A)?
If it was then he might have been stuck in the workshop by impassible tiles.


Also dwarves arn't smart they'd find a way to drown on dry ground if ye left em' alone long enough
