Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, but I have played this game for quite a long time now. My suggestion is a simple one: that there will be the possibility to change the in-game music. Because those loops are driving me crazy.

I think it should enable you point to a sound file on the computer to be played instead.

P.S.: English is not my native language. My Apologies.

You can replace song_game.ogg with any .ogg sound file of your choosing, if you rename it to song_game.ogg.  The more common option is just to turn the game volume off and play music in Winamp or something, of course.

I started using Star Control music (mainly because it was already in .ogg format) and I have to say the Precursors have some good DF music.

It doesn't run as smoothly though, at least not for the first loop.  I think that's because it's more complex than the song it's expecting.

How about dynamic music w/ custom folders?
IE: -Seige, play music in siege folder
-Nothing, play music in general folder
-Natural disaster
-Death
-Traders
-Ordering around military/engagements
-etc

... I've been spoiled by Total Annihilation apparently.
