It was extremely rampant though.  That was the thing.  Pedophilia was institutionalised in catholic schools in Ireland at the time.  Pedophiles were not only put up with by colleagues but also protected by them from questioning.

I don't think the catholic church has done this deliberately, but they haven't been doing themselves any PR favours (like trying to say "Hey!  It's not all that bad!" with statements from Donahue).  Anyway, it all pales in comparison to the number of people being killed in Africa through not wearing condoms, so whatever.

Back to topic:
Even farmers don't seem to be very trusted.  I guess it just shows that few people trust each other in China.
