Might be related to the botnet attack on facebook I've heard of recently. Or it might just be a problem unique to you. I have no such troubles.

Oh man seriously?  I use that site a lot for comic-related purposes and I'd be in a pickle without it.  I haven't been able to get it to load all day - I get a "server taking too long to respond" message.  Perhaps it is a DoS, although why would it affect me and not you?  Is it to do with the fact that I'm in Prague?  I haven't had any trouble with it since I got here, until today of course...

Hm....  Apparently people in Europe are accessing LJ fine today.  I haven't been able to get anyone here in the CZR to check and see if they can access it.  Any ideas as to what on earth is going on here?  I just assumed the LJ was down overall, but it seems to be just me...  I tried flushing my DNS and that didn't help.

In general, I take the whole "server taking too long to respond" as a sign that I ought to reset the wireless router. Not sure if that helps though.

If that doesn't work, google LJ and check the cache.

Phew.  I got up this morning and it worked again.  I'm going with local problem, possibly having something to do with those nasty DoS attacks (I am in Eastern Europe, after all).
