What to do with caged mega beasts

So my fortress has recently aquired a megabeast in a cage. This megabeast can not be tamed or bred. He is currently kept in a cage for my kings pleasure but I thought I would ask the DF community what it is they do with megabeasts, and have you all share your stories of blood and gore.

(Side question: If I uncage the megabeast in a pit and then throw goblins and kobolds in will it fight them?)

What megabeast is it?

It should attack gobolds. Send hordes of them at it and LOL.

Mephansteras (modded in from the Civilization Forge package). I'm thinking of starting an arena with this guy and all those damn gobos that are chillin in my kings "fun room".

you're going to have to pit it somewhere, because it'll destroy doors and whatever else it finds.

Oh it will be pitted, in the grandest of pits. Carved out of pure obsidian several Z levels deep. There will be chairs for spectators to observe the blood shed. It will feed on wild animals and pesky gobbos. That is until I can capture another mega beast. Then the true arena will begin! Arise Dwarven Coliseum!

Best thing you can do with megabeasts that can't be tamed is pitting them and turning the whole thing into a grand arena of sorts, I personaly had alot of fun with a pitted bronze colossus, naked gobbos and elven merchants.
