You now have some dulled berries of what you suspect to be poison.

"So who should take first watch?" Kadol prepares his bedroll.

Yeah. I really can't, because my wisdom is too low for me to help... anyone, really.

You sleep through the night.  Sym takes watch for the first half of the night, exchanging posts with Kadol in the second half.  Fortunately Sym does not need to rest for spell preparation in the coming day as he did not use any spells in the previous one, so the half-night's sleep does not affect him too badly.

Sym:  The night is largely calm and hot, but you feel the pressure drop halfway through your watch.  Just before the rain begins, you swear you hear soft humming sounds coming from somewhere in the woods, but the sudden downpour drowns it out and when you try to listen for it again you cannot make anything out.

Kadol:  Not a lot happens on your watch.  The rain continues for much of the night, but dries up by dawn.

You all awake the next morning, refreshed and with rumbling bellies.

You tuck into the berries.  They are a bit sour, but you feel otherwise fine.  Daylight filters softly through the trees.  There are about enough of the berries left for a morning meal for everyone, and Aandion finds a few more of those tiny mole creatures in the soil, gathering a few handfuls of the little wriggling diggers in his blanket.  They look edible enough.

What will you as a party decide to do now?

You get the fire started again and borrow Auchfor's knife to sharpen some sticks, possessing none of your own.  Spearing the little minimoles, they squeal briefly, but this ceases once they go into the fire.

Mm, crunchy!  There are plenty enough for everyone to eat.

Kadol eats a breakfast on the tiny moles, and packs up his bedroll. "We should try to find a river, we'll need water soon."
