My experience with Virgin is definitely getting better and better. Today, the free repair shipping box thing arrived via express. The best thing is that the return box, which is about 20cmx20cmx20cm, is also free express overnight. So I can be sure the 3 weeks time won't be spent waiting for delivery.

The mailing address is also headed straight for the LG main factory in Canada, which is great. I definitely appreciate them repairing the phone for only $25 when it would definitely cost 5 - 6 times that outside.

I just bought a new phone today.

My old one was a O2mini, and it decided to kill its voice last night - the internal speaker went dead.

I don't like using earphones (and having a cable dangling from my head to trouser pocket), plus I've been checking out HTC TouchPro2 for a while. I want a phone with hardware keyboard. Windows Mobile's input method just isn't satisfactory, for both messaging and playing NetHack.

TP2 definitely isn't perfect, and HTC is an evil WindowsMobile phone company. But for now, TP2 is the best phone for me in the market, and lots of workarounds and solutions are already available.

So now I'm a proud owner for a HTC TouchPro 2, and HKD 6000 poorer...
