Sure its big enough, but look at the location...
« on: July 18, 2009, 03:21:35 am »

With the release of the new 40d13 version (yes I know Im slow), processing speed has upped significantly. What this means to me is that I can spawn entire world tiles with no slowdown :D.

So my question to you bay watchers is what to do with this new found space? What catastrophic megaprojects can we now construct? Or enoumous underground exploits can we now seek to endeavor.

Ideas:
Bridge across a sea/lake
mandwarf made inland sea
Dread tower of doom?

All Feedback welcome.

Build a giant spiral ramp out of glass. Then add walls. Then turn it into a magma river.

A good suggestion, but you could do that on a normal sized map. My point is what would you do on a map the size of a world tile, (20x20)

The underworld.Dig out an entire level and fill it with chained evil creatures and coffins. Also bones and statues.Make sure everything is done in a random fashion.Add chasms. With spikes.Or magma.Make a mist machine.

EDIT:Mark it as one giant tomb.

SWEET idea, you could make it multiple z-levels with pillars and lava lakes. You could also make it a series of chambers, good for adventuring.

How about digging a huge ravine? Im thinking 15 z-levels deep by 3 region tiles wide by 20 region tiles long. Then have you entire fort suspended above it. Bonus:Biuld mock propulsion devices to make it look like a floating city, then turn caveins off.

Seamless world-sized fortress to be explored in adventurer mode.

That or any massive puzzle-type adventurer dungeon.
