world gen rejections infinite and defualt settings
« on: July 13, 2009, 12:50:48 pm »

I recently generated a small (size) world with all parameters at default (as far as im aware) apart from the age and number of mega beasts to cull. I wanted a world packed with mega beasts.

I got five messages each telling me that I had to change my parameters or ignore (else worlds would be rejected indefinitley) them for various attirbutes e.g. mountain peak number / height variance, volcano number, drainage, and a few others.

On the message it said i should report this as a bug. If someone wants to look at the world i can upload it if im told how.

p.s. after ignoring these messages i got a world packed with megabeasts.

I haven't been able to get any vomit this release. Not any I can pick up, at any rate.
Swans, too. Swans are complete bastards.

So the bug is that it gave you a bunch of warnings for parameters you hadn't changed?  Can you reproduce the bug when attempting to generate another world?  If so, save the parameter settings and copy/paste the corresponding parameter entry from /data/init/world_gen.txt.

Also, what version are you using?
