Try ripping ripping a person in two: shirt will stay with chest even if stomach stays with the lower part. There will be no "lower shirt".
Only in the dwarf fortress forums...

Yea what you said makes sense, I just couldn't think of a better way to say it.

this hypothosis has not yet been subject to peer review. readers, please leave your computer, go for a walk and attempt this feat on the first individual you encouter then report your findings. for science.

EDIT: Turns out it doesn't work like that. The universe has better combat simulation.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.
