Uh... Wow.   I think I actually had a strange mood last night.

In it, there were three things that, between the game itself and modding the raws, I -MUST- now create. (Or will, as soon as I figure out how.)



A: A bedroom with a magma pool in the center.
No, don't ask me why. In part of the dream, I was sitting IN my fortress, while a friend was PLAYING dwarf fortress. (wut.) Having been on for 12+ hours in a sweaty mine in a mine, I was going to offer to let him crash in my new miners' barracks instead of climbing all the way back upstairs. Thinking for a moment, I realized that perhaps a room with a magma pool in the center may be just a bit -too- dwarfy...   and helped him back up the stairs.
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I don't know why I never thought of such a thing before.

Tonight, my dwarves shall sleep with central heating.

Apparently, there was a migrant wave during a volcanically cataclysmic event. I was going to free a bunch of partially-mutilated survivors. (They were being pelted with magma at this point which, while rather traumatic to visualize in dream form, still somehow amused me.)

I found such lovely items as a demolition charge and detonator cords. I wonder if it's possible to create such things given the options we have now.

Are explosives and terrain damage from explosive on the list?  I hope so.  I want my catapults to leave smoking craters.

Apparently, all they've been known to do is just burn and cause a lot of smoke. So no, explosives are not available as of yet. That is if they ever get put in.
