This is no thread and no forum for attacking people. >.< Let that be clear. If there are those of you who have left the community, then let them please refrain from negatively commenting on the current state. You've expressed your dissatisfaction by leaving, is that not sufficient?

Putting it simply, Grail... if I have a majority support of what appears to be the citizenship, then I will gladly carry through with directorship. Upon hearing two votes of support for me to continue in addition to my own voice of willingness, then I shall run Spring and detail the results... somewhere, either here or on the original thread.

lol... and just think, had Hilscher been cut loose, you'd have an active game going...
Pity you folks let a sour apple ruin everyone's fun.

You're a spoiler. You're only in this thread to carry on criticizing me. I'm fine with that, but don't lie to yourself. You're only here as a spoiler. You had a hissy fit because the community wasn't willing to sacrifice free expression for your sake. If you can't have fun through enjoying the struggle of politics, no one can blame you for leaving, but we can blame you for coming back and trying to be a spoiler. Have some grace and dignity and either leave when you say you are or apologize and ask to be let back in. It's classless to carry on in the way you are.

Emmanovi, you have a majority vote approving you to begin the next season. Lav, Me, and your acceptance makes 3/5. Beyond that we can see how it goes. But I can guarantee that at least I will be reading your update. Others will certainly do so as well, so there's no risk of wasting your effort.

I thought you were still playing.
Nope, after seeing Hilscher attack you and face no consequence, then continue to attack me and face no consequence, I quit. It had nothing to do with the game or the politics (as Hilscher likes to cover his OOC attitude with- check his last post, he still tries to cover his being a jerk as 'a part of the game' and it seems Emmanovi is fooled into believing him), it was just that he was a jerk to pretty much everyone. When LegoLord quit, I followed him realizing he had the right idea. Its a pity, I had fun participating with you Org... as I said, its a pity someone had to use out of character asshatery to ruin it for some of us (and then claim we couldn't handle the in-game politics, to make himself feel better... lol)

Its funny, Hilscher didn't have a single post before the Dwarven Democracy thread- its almost like he was a plant to ruin it

Apologies, I've had something of a busy week with rehearsals and things nearly every day. :-\ I'm free(ish) now though - as soon as I've gotten back from giving blood later today, I'll get right on it. =]

I think if you simplify it a bit you might get more players. Also, it seems like you need to put in votekick (Is that in there? I just skimmed through)

Thank-you for your input, Rashilul. When you say simplify it, do you mean a simplification of our system, or a simplification of the explanation? I guess since we've been playing this game for some time, we're used to the swing and process of democracy, which other people may be intimidated by.

I'm sorry, but could you explain what you mean by "votekick"?

{Spring report is in old thread, if it is desired to read. Would it be better here?}

I mean taking out a bunch of uneeded stuff like bookeeper's rights.
And by "votekick" I mean setting up a vote to ban someone else from voting.
This thread seems to have some troubles like that. Of course I'm not naming anyone but it seems like some people are just messing stuff up.

Regretfully, that would violate the charter (unless the dwarves in particular had been agressing or coercing upon other dwarves). Having observed what has gone by, I don't personally believe such things are warranted.

I am considering looking through the charter and making a summarised version of it, mainly for the benefit of newcomers.

Well it's unfortunate that this faded away but without Lav's support it would take an enormous effort of will to reboot this thing. Thanks for putting in all the work you did, Emmanovi. For what it's worth I read and enjoyed your final update.
