Yeah, I'd take over this, but I'm just as tangled up in heavy writing in my own RTD. I suggest this be put on hold until better times. Aqizzar, you should preserve your current notes/thoughts from a month ago on the project in an archive somewhere, so that when you or someone else decides to continue, the current progress would not be lost.

fixed. :P
really though, that's probably the best idea, for keeping this out of the permanent graveyard.
A new writer would probably end up killing the great atmosphere you've made, intentionally or not.

You know, it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't still love this damn idea so much.  Back in December, I was trying to decide which of my many forum game ideas to inflict on people, and for some God forsaken reason this sounded like the easiest.  If only I'd come up with more rules, and limited the number of players, and not committed myself to writing every update in giant paragraphs all in one sitting during an essay heavy semester.

...Fuck.  I just know I'm gonna wind up doing this again.  Maybe somebody else (Strife) would like to try running an improvisational, narrative heavy game instead of me.

If any one has a problem doing that, I don't mind helping them with updates and such. I won't do it all on my own though. I have managed to get procrastination down to a fine art.

You know, if there was an automatic program to help change status posts, it'd make things a lot easier.

TELL ME ABOUT IT.  I frequently contemplated writing a C++ program or something to correlate all my information and preformat the posts, but if I was too lazy to sketch the damn ship, that certainly wasn't going to happen.

I use Excel. Doesn't help to keep track of things, but at least produces a nice preformatted wall of text.

The space ship was more of a theoretical mishmash of compartments and connectors that would have made Euclid cry. No need to worry about it.

Also, don't worry about this 'till our Sims drama have had a single update to draw us in. Then you can abandon it to bring this back up.

Tonight.  Probably.  I haven't finished three other houses yet, but I'd like to entertain myself and build my chops up by getting through at least a couple days with the Not Crazy house.

And don't think this game wasn't on my mind when I made the Sims 2 neighborhood a maniacal space colony.
