Not acknowledging magma discovery?
« on: August 11, 2009, 01:21:43 am »

My beloved dorfs just found a magma pipe. Except no magma buildings are showing up in the furnaces list. I'm running d13. Is there any version-compatible way to "force" these options to appear, and does anyone know why this might be the case? I haven't forcibly revealed the magma. I got the usual discovery message and everything.

Crap, I JUST read another post that mentioned magma buildings are buggy on reclaims - which this is. I didn't even think about transferring the save. I'll do that. Thank you.

EDIT: Well, that works fine. Except that when I open the save back up in d13, the buildings are disabled again. Is there no lasting way to get the "magma found" flag set?

no, unfortunatly, you'll have to use a tweak program to get it working again.

Well, I guess that's life. As long as the buildings keep working, I suppose I'll only need to do it once, construct the buildings, and then switch back. Which I'll add, so far, seems to have worked find. A little inconvenient, but not the end of the world.
