I'd ideally like either a battle axe or a broadsword and a set of iron armor, but that probably isn't gonna happen.

More realistically, I'd just like a broadsword. And a shield, if I don't already have one.

If the broadsword is too expensive, a scimitar is fine too.

Everything in Pravoka is overpriced and poorly made. I want my share (423~ gil) tucked away to save up for a silver sword.

I bought Invis for Okenido, which raises evasion. I should probably have taken Blindna, as we could have more use for it in the upcoming dungeon.

Anywho, let's take on this Bikke guy!


Probably the lamest line in the game so far (with Garland's revised line coming close second.)




And this one comes third.

SWIRLY BATTLE TRANSITION!

The pirates aren't tough at all, they die by one hit (excluding from Shork, who has a small chance of not insta-killing them with a normal attack). Their number one bonus, however, is that they are nine, and so get nine attacks towards us.


WHAM! Take that, you filthy lecherous piratey... pirate!

These guys hit like girls!


Oh, and here's invis in action. You can't see it here in the screenshots, but Shork is blinking, which apparently gives him higher evasion.


Ice! How cool.


Victory! But where did Shork go? He's still there, but he's blinking again.


I gotta admit i never heard a crunch. Except for your bones, maybe.




No! Let's just kill him and take the ship anyway!


Curse you, game, for not letting me slaughter whoever i want left and right.


Anywho, we atleast got a ship now, which means we can sail anywhere we want! almost anywhere, as this ocean is closed in by a mass of land. Stupid railroad plots.




Incidentally, there was not a single fight between Pravoka's port and this one. We DID meet some wolves some time after, but still.

Our current objective is to get the crown from the marsh cave. Doesn't sound too bad, does it? Think again.



Elves! Bloody ponity-eared fiends! We should make crossbow bolts out them all!

Sadly, the game doesn't let us kill whoever we want, so we can't really. We do not really want to stay with the elves, but there are two bonuses from being here. One, it's a place to rest between Pravoka and the marsh cave. Two, they got kickass items. Dwarves make kickass items, not elves, dammit!





What is a good thing here, though, is that they got TWO magic shops of each type! Unfortunately, they all cost a fortune.











Now then, select what you would like to buy. Do not mind our current gil count, as i am currently grinding monsters so we can buy a lot of stuff. Be reasonable, though, i do not want to spend my entire day getting money.

Heal is an awesome spell, it heals as much HP as cure does, but to the entire party!

Anywho, it's time to continue to the marsh cave. Onwards!


(We're also briefly stopping to buy some antidotes, because it is very likely for us to get poisoned in here. We can get blinded as well, but sadly we can't buy eye drops yet, scratch that, i just discovered we can buy them in Pravoka after i had done this update.)


Aah, a nice stroll, interrupted occasionally all the freaking time by ogres.

Hey, we managed to surprise an enemy! Unfortunately, it's green slime, which are physically resistant. Meaning we have to use our magic attacks. Luckily enough, i'm pretty sure they only have 20-30 hp or something.

After a quick fight, we move up and get ourselves some loot!

Due to my screenshot inability, i managed to miss the screenshot where we get ambushed and Shork get's hit twice for about 50 damage each.

In return, he retaliates with BLIZZARA!

Giving this to Josh. Now he does insanely amounts of damage (along with Inaluc).

HOLY CRAP! They ambushed us and killed Shork! Those bastards! Now we need to backtrack and ressurect him because of that.
