Hi there,

For some reason, I can't use (z)oom or (v)iew from stocks, even though I have a Adept Record Keeper as my Treasurer, and it's set to the Highest Precision (and working as far as I can tell - no ?s in my stocks). Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

As a guess, you're viewing the general categories, and you have to hit <tab> to get to the individual items listings to zoom to a specific item.

You need to press -- I can't remember what it was, either X or tab -- so that the items are shown as, for example:
limestone
limestone
limestone
instead of limestone (3).  You can zoom to the individual items.

While I've got your attention, 2 more questions... What is the significance of the different color Fs in the stocks menu? They mean that the item is forbidden, but do the mean anything else?

And, how can I get my military to attack the fire snakes? I set them to chase opponents and harass wild animals, and they still are just walking around hanging out with the fire snakes.

Anything represented by a dot/period " . " is non-combat.  FS's are still poze a hazard, but you have to trap them - and no, not with a mechanic's cage traps.  Read about "trapper" and "vermin" in wiki.

re Different "F's" - it's whether you've forbidden all or just "some" of the item.  Hit <tab> to see individual items.
